“i worked in design objects as "optics design intern" from august 2019-november 2019. during the internship period, i learnt about the luminaire industry and the effort comes in for creating a value-added creative luminaire. i worked on study of photometry and ray optics analysis of architectural luminaire. as a part of basic knowledge, i also learnt cad based software - solidedge and apply design thinking for application specific development and ergonomics of innovative products. it was a very vibrant tenure for me as an individual to work in an energetic team where constant learning and open room for discussions are always appreciated.”

Given the opportunity to work with Design Object has been immensely insightful for exploring multiple design disciplines along with industrial designing as core. Under the guidance of passionate and experienced designers I was able to achieve a new standard of designing. It was a wonderful experience. The best part is the studio space. The team—Shovan sir, who guides and motivates you whenever you're stuck, along with Vishnu and Rudhran, who are always there to solve any problem and share their wisdom, along with the passionate interns, all of this creates a truly supportive environment. Special mention to Govind Bhaiya and Jamuna Didi for their support. Not to forget the little stress busters, Gabbar and Muffin!
The work is the most fun part of the studio as you get to choose what you want to contribute to. I joined to understand industrial design, but instead, I was introduced to so much more. Grateful for the mentorship!
